Inspired by my parents, Ron and Colleen Metz, and my grandparents, J.W. Metz Co. was built on the belief that everyone deserves a safe, beautiful, and manageable outdoor space—especially those who’ve spent a lifetime caring for theirs.
We know many seniors and individuals with disabilities still love their lawns and gardens, but some of the heavy lifting just isn’t as easy as it used to be. That’s where we come in. We offer personalized yard and garden services with no minimum spend—you only pay for what you need.

We are here to step up and help!
Helping Others Reclaim Their Outdoors
At J.W. Metz Co., we believe everyone deserves a safe, usable, and dignified outdoor space. That’s why we created Property SOS — a community initiative focused on helping seniors and individuals with disabilities reclaim their yards and properties at cost OR no cost, depending on need and project scope.
Each month, our family and friends dedicate time and resources to clear overgrowth, remove hazards, and restore neglected outdoor areas for those who need it most. Our goal is simple: to provide relief, restore independence, and bring peace of mind by turning unmanageable spaces into places people can once again enjoy and take pride in.
We may not be able to take on every project, but little by little, we’re working to make our corner of the world a better, cleaner, and safer place to call home.
